The selection of cable tray is related to the characteristics of its own board and process treatment, but the factors that affect the service life of cable tray in daily work are not only limited to this, but also closely related to daily maintenance. The seven factors that affect the service life of cable trays are:
A. Rust treatment: Usually, cable trays are treated with two layers of chlorosulfonated primer for two parts of rust removal. The quality of surface rust removal treatment directly affects the service life of anti-corrosion engineering. On site rust removal is usually done by grinding machines or manual methods. After surface treatment, the primer is applied within 4 hours. If new rust is found due to improper handling, it must be reprocessed;
B. Coating treatment: The coating process is divided into brush coating and roller coating. When brushing or rolling, each layer should be repeatedly applied horizontally in a staggered manner until it is uniform and there should be no omissions;
C. Construction environment requirements: The environment needs to be well ventilated, with a temperature preferably between 13 ° C-30 ° C and not lower than 5 ° C, and a relative humidity kept within 80%. Construction should not be carried out under strong light. Construction shall not be carried out outdoors in rainy, foggy, or strong wind weather conditions;
D. Avoid placing in high temperature and humid places;
E. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids;
F. Special maintenance wax for cable trays can be used for maintenance;
G. Regularly clean the dust and rust on the surface of cable trays.
